INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 packages Ichiban noodles

  • 1 medium green cabbage

  • 1 bunch green onions

  • 2 cans mandarin oranges, drained

  • 1 package blanched almonds

  • Dressing:

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar

  • 1 cup oil

  • Seasoning from Ichiban noodles

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds




INSTRUCTIONS:

Optional but recommended:

Cook Ichiban noodles according to package instructions, but save the seasoning packet for the dressing.

  1. Chop the cabbage and green onions.

  2. Drain the mandarin oranges.

  3. Prepare the dressing: In a bowl, mix vinegar, oil, Ichiban seasoning, sugar, and sesame seeds.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, green onions, almond and noodles. Toss lightly.

  5. Add the drained mandarin oranges and mix gently again.

  6. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
